Serving our clergy, parish and community has been the central focus of our newly energized Assembly. After a slowdown in the Assembly’s participation in the Color Corps’ events and Assembly meetings, primarily as a result of the COVID epidemic, several 4th Degree Knights from Belfast and Rockland came together in June of 2023 to elect officers and reactivate the Color Corps which now has 11 active members! After only one year of operating as an active Assembly, we have recruited 14 new members, hosted the statewide Exemplification Ceremony attended by over 100 Knights, and conducted multiple Color Corps’ events in all three of our mainland churches. We enjoy the enthusiastic support of our clergy, parish office staff, Third Degree Councils, and parishioners. As the most visible members of the Knights of Columbus, the Color Corps’ participation in special masses and parish events has enhanced the solemnity and enjoyment of all involved. All of our Assembly Sir Knights are looking forward to the years ahead as we find new ways to serve our community!
